Hello friends,
The time is near that we jet South. We leave tomorrow evening!!! and arrive in Santiago, Chile at about 11:00 on Christmas morning. We are uber excited and feeling pretty ready to go.
After much deliberation we decided to start up this blog, but only with the disclaimer that we may not update often. We will try to give tidbits of our adventures (and misfortunes if there are any) but can make no promises as to how frequently we will be on here. We just thought it was super important that you (being people we love and care about) can access our life afar if you so desire.
If you are wondering about why we named it Three-L Lllama, here is your answer. The idea came from the following Ogdyn Nash poem that Nathan can emphatically recite at the drop of a hat:
- The one-L lama,
- He's a priest.
- The two-L llama,
- He's a beast.
- And I would bet
- A silk pajama
- There isn't any
- Three-L lllama.
It makes both of us smile and chuckle a bit, and we hope that it did the same for you!
May you all have a very merry Christmas that is full of laughter and joy and love.
Chloe (and Nathan)
Have fun, stay safe, bring me back a Llama!
ReplyDeleteI love that poem! Merry Christmas you two, and safe travels!
